Although the effective separation lower limit of our company's three product high-pressure feeding heavy medium cyclone reaches 0.25mm, for some coal slurries with extremely poor selectivity or requiring lower effective separation particle size limits, our company's invention patent technology (patent number: ZL 2013 1 0158066.9) can also be used for separation of coal slurries heavy medium cyclone. The principle is that in a heavy medium cyclone, magnetite powder is subjected to centrifugal classification, and the magnetite powder carried out with the clean coal suspension has a fine particle size, which can be used as a separation suspension for coal slurry heavy medium cyclone. Not only can the preparation, transportation, and recovery system of ultrafine particle suspension be avoided, simplifying the process flow, but also reducing the relatively high processing cost of flotation operations.
